DAY 1: ARRIVE AUCKLAND |

On arrival at Auckland Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel, included in your itinerary today is a visit to the Sky Tower for a birds eye view of the city. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package).

DAY 2: AUCKLAND - WAITOMO CAVES - ROTORUA (370 KMS) (D) |

The coach travels over the rugged volcanic terrain of the Mamaku Ranges and through the picturesque Fitzgerald Glade. The highlight is the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and the visit is climaxed by drifting silently in a boat on the underground river under the milky way of millions of glow worms on the cavern roof above you. This evening be entertained to a night of truly authentic, traditional Maori culture and entertainment. Join in a time of sharing and feasting to a selection of foods cooked the traditional Maori way on hot stones in an authentic earthen oven. |

DAY 3: ROTORUA (L) |

Todays tour includes Te Puia - Thermal Reserve to see roaring geysers and mud pools. Following this, you will travel to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other wildlife and the famous Agrodome Sheep Show. A ride on the Gondola up to Mt. Ngongataha for a uffet lunch and for the more courageous ones a ride on the Luge. (Self-drive assengers have the fl exibility to explore the many other interesting activities in and around Rotorua). |

This morning we board the Interislander Ferry across the Cook Strait to Picton to continue your journey to Nelson. We take the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive along the Sound to Havelock, before crossing the Rai Saddle to Nelson. | ![]() |

DAY 6: NELSON - GREYMOUTH - WEST COAST GLACIERS (520 KMS) |

Today we cross the Hope Saddle to Kawatiri Junction before entering the Buller Gorge and following the Buller River to Westport. We view the amazing Pancake Rock formations at Punakaiki and then on to Greymouth, nestled on the banks of the Grey River. Continue southwards by coach along the coast to reach Westland National Park and the glacier region. | ![]() |

DAY 7: WEST COAST GLACIERS |

A full day at leisure to enjoy the magnifi cent glaciers. Climb on to the slow moving river of ice or take a scenic flight (optional) for a birds eye view of this spectacular terrain. | ![]() |

To day a cruise on the vintage Old Lady the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm for a BBQ lunch excursion at the Colonels Homestead. First the experience of cruising on the TSS Earnslaw and secondly the farm experience and the BBQ lunch. When you board the boats return journey, join in the sing-a-long session for a memorable 40 minutes trip. (The TSS Earnslaw is away on its annual service in June and July and therefore is replaced with other activity or activities that will be advised). | ![]() |
